Residual income ideas are all around us, and the key is in finding out which ones are genuine and suitable for you.In order to get myself started on the subject I thought back on my previous attempts to break away from my 9 to 5 job, and how they had gone.

I had previously joined a pyramid type scheme and had lost interest when I had failed to advance after a few months.With this in mind I resolved to have a real go at find the ideal residual income ideas for me, and started by considering why my previous efforts hadn’t gone anywhere.

I had failed to spend enough time looking for the information I had needed.
No one had been on hand to help me understand how to sort out the dross from the good stuff.
I hadn’t been committed enough and this had caused me to lose interest.
I didn’t believe enough that it was possible and gave up before exploring all the possibilities.
A lack of support from my friend. who all thought it was a waste of time – encouraged me to give up the search.
I had been looking at things I was already comfortable in, rather than focussing on things which I could easily learn.
I wanted a business just like the one I was used to working in and wasn’t flexible enough.

I could see pretty clearly where I had gone wrong and resolved to work out how toavoid these problems in the future. Through some investigation I found out the following points:-

I could look at any type of business. Being an expert in the subject or not was not an important point. The key is to find the best residual income ideas and work out how to apply them.
My lack of specialist knowledge did not rule me out of any residual income ideas because I just needed to learn a proven process and then apply it to whichever idea would make most money.
I could use outsourcing to do the things I wasn’t comfortable with, thereby turning my residual income ideas into working businesses very quickly.
An important point was to make a wise choice with the type of residual income ideas at the beginning and then stick with them, rather than hopping from one to another.
Being persistent is vital, even though your residual income ideas can get up and running quickly.
People who have already made a success of residual income ideas have done so by setting up multiple income streams.
There is no need to invent new processes. All you have to do it use the proven business models which are out there and which have been successful for other residual income ideas.
Backing up good residual income ideas with automated processes means that your success is easily repeatable in other markets.

Once my fears had been allayed I set about making my dream of working from  home a reality and have been delighted with the results so far and have been sticking to those principles which I learned in order to keep growing my business and earn more money as time goes by.
